A recreation center in southern Nevada has closed for the first time in more than a decade.
The Anderson Recreation Center in Carson City, Nevada, closed Monday after the owners failed to pay rent and repairs.
The center closed after the Nevada Department of Revenue said it couldn’t find the funds to pay for the bills.
The center’s website lists more than 60 unpaid bills totaling more than $2,700.
The facility, which has been open since 1992, is located in the center of town where the former Clark County jail was located.
