At first glance, the Mount of Olives seems a simple place to get involved with your community.
But for some of the most prominent members of the Jewish community, its symbolism has come to define them and their community.
And so, for several years, a group of Israelis has been trying to create a temple for the Jewish people in its own historic site, hoping that by doing so, they might be able to shed light on the way they view the holy site.
The group’s effort, dubbed the Temple Restoration Project, was first announced in 2013 by Israeli journalist and historian Yair Rosenberg.
He wrote in a blog post that the group hopes to create an institution for the preservation of the site’s historic elements by using the holy place as a backdrop to their vision.
But the group has faced a number of hurdles in their efforts.
The project has faced several legal and technical challenges, including the fact that it is illegal to build on the Mount.
Also, the project’s plans have come under attack from the Israeli government.
Since then, the group’s efforts have been hampered by an ongoing legal dispute with the Israeli Antiquities Authority.
But its latest setback came after the Jerusalem Post reported in July that it had received a request from the government to remove the Temple on the Temple site from the list of official heritage sites.
According to the group, the reason given for the government’s request was that it was in the “public interest to prevent the restoration of a mosque.”
The Israeli government denied the group the request, and the group filed an appeal with the Supreme Court.
The court rejected the request last week.
In a letter to the Jerusalem Times, Rabbi Yoav Stern, the executive director of the Temple Reform movement and a former chief rabbi of Israel, wrote that the government is ignoring the importance of the historic significance of the Holy Temple, and that “the Israeli government is trying to use the Temple as a tool for building a wall against the Jewish People.”
In an interview with Al Jazeera, Stern said that the legal battle is part of a larger effort by the Israeli authorities to prevent any attempts at reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians.
He said that, at a time when the status of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has become even more fraught, “we have to show our people that they can restore their place in the land of Israel.”
The current fight between the two sides has been fueled in part by the rise of a political party that wants to break away from the status quo and create a Palestinian state, and who has accused Israel of trying to “muzzle” them by trying to control the religious sites on the mountain.
Israel, however, maintains that it has the right to maintain the status it has, and is therefore not responsible for the decision to take over the sites.
The issue of how to make room for the Temple at the Mount has been a key issue in the current round of negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian governments.
In recent months, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made several statements in which he has tried to shift the blame for the mounting conflict in the Middle East on the Palestinians, and has also attempted to portray the two-state solution as a one-state arrangement.
“The Temple is a central and central part of the story of Israel’s history and the Jewish State, and we are proud of its historical importance,” he said at a rally last month.
But he also warned against allowing the situation to escalate into violence.
“There are many people who want to kill us, and there are many other people who would like to destroy our Temple,” he told the crowd.
“It is my hope that this dialogue will lead to a lasting peace between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
And we will see the Temple restored.”
