The Recreational Cannabis Store will open in Arizona, Colo.
and California, according to a report from Fox News.
The Arizona City News also reported that California is the first state to open recreational marijuana stores.
In California, recreational pot shops are expected to open on Nov. 6, the same day as the Nov. 4 election.
The stores will be the first to be established in California since 1996, when marijuana was legalized for recreational use in the Golden State.
“California will be a leader in this field, and we look forward to having these stores in our state,” California Gov.
Gavin Newsom said at a press conference announcing the opening of the stores.
California’s Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, which oversees the recreational marijuana industry, will oversee the stores, which will be located in the state’s southern San Joaquin Valley.
